Compost fermentation method in organic fertilizer production line:
(1) Pile compost needs to be decomposed at 20 ℃ for 15 ~ 20 days. During this period, it can be completely decomposed by turning the pile once or twice, and then standing for 2 ~ 3 months. The advantages of strip composting are simple operation technology, the length of the stack can be adjusted at will, and there is no need to invest expensive equipment, but the disadvantages are that the decomposition process takes a long time, and the pile height is low, generally no more than 1.2 m, which requires a lot of space.
(2) Aerated composting, that is, ventilating and supplying oxygen to the inside of the compost by using fans, porous pipes, etc., can greatly reduce the fermentation and maturation time, generally about 4 weeks, and can increase the height of the compost to about 2 m, so as to reduce the occupation of the site, but the disadvantage is that building the ventilation system requires a certain cost investment, and it needs to add a deodorization system to meet the relevant environmental protection requirements.
(3) Trough composting, that is, the stacking material is put into a long trough device for fermentation, and the mixer is moved back and forth along the longitudinal axis of the trough for mixing. This process can also play an oxygen supply role. When trough composting is used, the depth of material is generally controlled between 1.2 ~ 1.5 m, and the fermentation can be completed after 3 ~ 5 weeks. However, the equipment input and operation cost are higher than that of strip compost and aerated compost, and the mixing structure is easy to be corroded and worn by feces, so it should be maintained or replaced regularly.
