Generally, the scale of plant construction is determined by the balance of expected sales and cost-profit of products, but the scale of organic fertilizer production is controlled by the source of raw materials. Because organic fertilizer plants need a large number of raw materials which are not suitable for long-distance transportation, and the raw materials for organic fertilizer production need to be fermented, and the fermentation process will produce gas pollution, and occupy a larger site. Therefore, most of the organic fertilizer plants are small and medium-sized. Raw materials are collected, processed and processed nearby. If we want to expand the scale, it is better to rebuild factories in other places where there are sufficient raw materials, so as to avoid the problem of long-distance transportation of raw materials, and also avoid the problem of large-scale fermentation treatment in the same place which occupies too much space and the transportation distance in the factory is too far.
The construction of organic fertilizer plant can also adopt the method of decentralized fermentation and centralized deep processing. Fermentation farm is built in the raw material distribution area. After the fermentation, raw materials are transported to the organic fertilizer production line for further processing of organic fertilizer. In this way, although the management is more difficult and the cost is increased, the control of product quality is more guaranteed. Some industrial factories (such as sugar factories, sewage treatment factories, paper mills, etc.) have a large supply of raw materials, with a construction scale of 100,000 tons and 200,000 tons. Organic fertilizer production and processing in organic fertilizer factories play an important role in environmental protection. As the raw materials produced by these factories continue to be processed, and the sale of organic fertilizers has a certain seasonality, there should be a large enough aging warehouse or finished product warehouse, so that the organic raw materials can be fermented immediately after they are produced. In the season of low sales, these raw materials are stored in the form of finished organic fertilizer, but not raw materials. For factories with large output of organic fertilizer raw materials, sales are the main problems that need to be solved by organic fertilizer factories.
Therefore, the construction of organic fertilizer plant is determined not only by output and sales, but also by the amount of raw materials that can be collected.
