Flat mold fertilizer granulator is one of the commonly used equipment in fertilizer production. With its stable and reliable performance, it provides an effective solution for the shaping of fertilizers.

The flat mold fertilizer granulator is mainly composed of a motor, transmission system, flat mold, pressure roller, and feeding device. The motor drives the flat mold to rotate through the transmission system, while the pressure roller maintains a certain pressure contact with the flat mold above and rotates on its own.

The fertilizer raw materials are transported to the rotating flat mold through the feeding device. During the rotation of the flat mold, the material moves towards the edge of the flat mold under the action of centrifugal force and frictional force. At the same time, the pressure roller applies pressure to the material, squeezing it through the mold holes on the flat mold.

When the material passes through the mold hole, it is shaped into a columnar strip. As the flat mold continues to rotate, the strip material is constantly extruded. On the outer side of the flat mold, there is usually a cutting blade that cuts the columnar strip according to a preset length, forming uniformly sized fertilizer particles.

The flat mold fertilizer granulator has many advantages. Its structure is relatively simple, and it is easy to operate and maintain. For some moderately viscous fertilizer raw materials, a stable granulation process can be achieved, and the produced fertilizer particles have high strength and are not easily broken. Moreover, by replacing flat molds with different aperture sizes, the particle size can be adjusted to meet different production needs.

However, the flat mold fertilizer granulator also has certain limitations. Its production efficiency may be relatively low compared to some large granulation equipment, making it less suitable for large-scale fertilizer production. In addition, the flat mold and pressure roller will be subject to material wear and tear after long-term use, and need to be regularly inspected and replaced to ensure the quality of granulation.

In practical applications, the flat mold fertilizer granulator is suitable for small and medium-sized fertilizer production enterprises, especially for manufacturers who have certain requirements for fertilizer particle strength and relatively stable production scale. It provides a practical granulation option for fertilizer production with stable and reliable performance, helping fertilizer production enterprises achieve efficient and stable production.
