Furfural residue is a kind of waste after extracting furfural from corn cob, oat and wheat bran, sawdust and other agricultural by-products. It also contains more lignin, semi lignin, cellulose and other organic components. These wastes can be transformed into organic fertilizer for plant growth by using organic fertilizer production equipment. Compared with other fermented organic fertilizer materials, furfural organic fertilizer also has the characteristics of low cost. It is a rare raw material with low cost and high cost performance.
1. Fermentation of furfural residue organic fertilizer must adjust PH value
Before the furfural residue is subjected to biological fermentation treatment, we recommend measuring the pH of the furfural residue. The furfural slag left after most industrial processes is highly acidic, with a PH value between 3-4, while the PH value suitable for the rapid reproduction of microorganisms is generally between 5-8. Therefore, it is recommended to use lime water to adjust the pH to about 6-8.
2. Oxygen-consuming fermentation
Furfural residue fermented organic fertilizer is a kind of biological product obtained by aerobic and temperature-fermentation fermentation of organic substances by microbial beneficial bacteria. Microorganisms will generate temperature when they decompose the organic matter in the material. These temperatures will kill most pathogenic microorganisms at 65-70°C. At this time, there are certain requirements for the composting of the material. If the stacks are stacked, the stack body is too small, and the temperature is difficult to increase; the stack body is too large, which will increase the difficulty of material tossing. According to the experience of fertilizer granulator manufacturers, it is recommended that the height of the compost be less than 1.5 meters, the width of the pile be about 2 meters, and the water content be adjusted to 60%, and then fermentation. If there is a fermentation tank, just put the furfural residue in it.
3.Temperature measurement and turning during fermentation
After stacking the materials, it is recommended to cover a layer of plastic cloth with holes on the outside of the pile to keep the heat and also to pass oxygen. However, these oxygen are far from enough. During fermentation, it is necessary to measure the temperature of the fermentation pile. When the temperature exceeds 50 ℃, the compost turning equipment shall be used to stir the materials and aerate them. After fermentation, it is suggested to mix the compost with other nutrients and make organic compound fertilizer products by disc granulator.
