Palm oil is the main product of oil palm trees. In addition to the production of palm oil, oil palm trees also have many by-products of fiber, such as trunk, empty ear, shell, pomace and so on. The leaves cut off by an oil palm tree due to its normal growth, the fruit ears that bear fruit, and the fruit residues produced by the production of palm oil are very large. If these fibre by-products are well utilized, they will bring economic benefits. If they are discarded as waste, they will cause serious environmental pollution.
In fact, oil palm trees need a lot of fertilizer to grow, and oil palm fruit stalk, fruit residue and other waste materials are good raw materials for organic fertilizer production. These raw materials can be reused for oil palm growth only by the processing of organic fertilizer production equipment.
Organic Fertilizer Made from Oil Palm Waste
Waste materials such as oil palm stalk were collected, and oil palm stalk was pretreated to facilitate fermentation. Animal manure was added to the fermentation material and all the raw materials were put into the fermentation tank to make the raw materials compost aerobically. During fermentation, the composting turner machine is used to mix the material, so that the material can get enough oxygen. After fermentation, these oil palm wastes can be made into organic fertilizer. In addition, some nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be mixed in the treatment of organic fertilizer equipment to produce bio-organic-inorganic compound fertilizer, so as to realize the purpose of resource utilization of oil palm oil mill wastes. In the production of organic-inorganic compound fertilizer, attention should be paid to the proportioning link of organic fertilizer production equipment, and the ratio of NPK to organic matter can be set up to make fertilizer granules with comprehensive fertilizer efficiency.
