During the operation of the fertilizer production line, different raw materials have different effects on the equipment. Some raw materials due to high hardness, corrosion or water content, may accelerate the wear of equipment, affecting production efficiency and equipment life. As a professional fertilizer equipment manufacturer, we need to help customers understand which raw materials are easy to accelerate the loss of fertilizer granulators and other equipment, and provide reasonable solutions.
1. High hardness raw materials: accelerate the wear of mechanical parts
Such as phosphate rock powder, steel slag powder and other hard raw materials, the particles are hard, in the process of granulation and grinding will increase the wear of equipment, especially in the NPK fertilizer production line in the mill, granulator and screening equipment. Long-term use of such raw materials may lead to rapid wear of blades, rollers and screens, increasing maintenance costs.
2. Highly corrosive raw materials: damage the equipment structure
Raw materials containing sulfur, chlorine and other chemical components, such as ammonium sulfate, potassium chloride, etc., will corrode the metal parts of the fertilizer granulator, especially in a humid environment, and the corrosion rate is faster. This not only affects the service life of the equipment, but also may reduce the quality of fertilizer production.
3. High moisture raw materials: affect equipment operation
Such as livestock manure, biogas residue and other high-moisture raw materials, if not fully fermented or dried, it is easy to adhere to the blender, granulator and conveyor belt of the fertilizer production line, resulting in equipment blockage or poor operation. In addition, the high humidity environment may also accelerate the rust and aging of metal components.
4. Raw materials with high fiber content: increase the burden of equipment
Such as straw, wood chips, palm residue and other raw materials, high fiber content, difficult to crush and granulation, may lead to mill overload or granulation machine blockage. If not pre-treated, such as crushing or crushing, these raw materials can reduce production efficiency and increase equipment wear.
